Songs From Death Rowby Gene Hathorn, Kenneth Thordal & Marco Evaristti |
About the Songs From Death RowA collaboration between lyricist Gene Wilford Hathorn and singer and composer Kenneth Thordal. Lyricist Gene Wilford Hathorn will probably never be able to hear these songs. He's been on death row since 1985. The last 15 years in total isolation - like all other Texan death row prisoners. Sara Koppels video below is based on Gene Hathorns original drawings and Marco Evaristtis paintings Kenneth says: "Even though Gene is not innocent he's still a human being with hopes, fears and longings. I hope that comes across in the songs and in the video."You are welcome to add a comment about the project, the songs or the video at either Kenneth Thordals blog, our MySpace profile or the YouTube page that hosts the video.
